About SILO



Mario Luis Rodriguez Cobos was born in Mendoza, Argentina, South America on the 6th January 1938. He was known by his penname SILO. He was a thinker, philosopher and writer. For millions of people all across the world, his teaching, books, lectures have become inspiration to act in the direction of personal and social transformation, giving meaning to their lives.

 

He was the founder of Humanist Movement, a unique movement of human sensibility, where non discrimination, non violence, solidarity, placement of human being in the centre of all the activities, are a way of leading one's life.

 

He was the author of books, To Humanize the Earth – (comprising the books The Inner Look, The Internal Landscape, and The Human Landscape), Guided Experiences, Contribution to Thought, Universal Root Myths, Letters To My Friends, Day of the Winged Lion.
He was a universal spiritual guide for millions of people.
